The Festival is a four-day musical and cultural extravaganza that tries to incorporate all facets of women's lives. It's a jam-packed weekend where you can choose from more than 150 workshops, 9 structured concerts, 3 unstructured concerts (for performances by festi-goers), dances, a shopping mall, and newly released films and videos.
-
Most Festival attendees are women, although men can and do attend. Attendees come from all walks of life and cultures, cutting across ethnic, racial, sexual, age, and ability boundaries. Likewise, our programming reflects many points of view – a diversity of ideas and topics that may stretch the comfort zones of many, but that are explored and discussed in a safe environment. Ours is an environment in which philosophies and politics are open for discussion, not mandated or judged.
It's going to be a BIG year! With the number of registrations already received, we can tell it's going to be a
· phenomenal festival that you won't want to miss! However, it also means we need many more work exchange and volunteer workers! Please sign up as a volunteer it truly makes the festival an even more enriching experience!
Call us or register online as a volunteer or work exchange worker!
Important: air-conditioned rooms sold out! If you're not in air-conditioned rooms, bring fans. All dorm rooms have phone jacks but no phones so bring your own telephone.
